Intergrate iPad music playback controls
At the top have a play, pause, next, prev, ff, rr button. When playing music with an iPad either docked, or streaming through express, it would be nice to have the controls available. This way we wouldn't have to double click or exit program to get to the controls. It would be super helpful especially when it comes to play and pause.

As a (hopefully easier) short term fix - keep MF synched to the DL when MF is in the background. Swiping to the music player is almost instantaneous, but swiping back to MF takes several seconds while it re-synchs. Having MF stay synched in the background would make it a lot smoother to move between MF and other apps.

As far as controls, I would also really appreciate the ability to lower the incoming level. I have yet to find one. All my break music comes in at plus 10 and I can barely move the fader before it's screaming loud. I will be honest, I am not a mac pro yet, maybe I can do this already. But none of the volumes I have found will lower the incoming level because it's a digital transfer.

I would prefer to use the unused grey space on top-left for the following standard buttons:
Stop/Play, Pause, Skip forward, skip backwards.
They could either control the active music app, or control a new built-in music player from Mackie :) -
footswitch option to pause play of songs in playlist would be nice, e

Difficult is not the correct adjective. It's not difficult at all. But it is a pain in the neck. When im playing guitar and mixing and have to switch to my dj app. Hit play then switch back to the mixer. Wait for it to sink Its a pain

While it would be nice to see the playback controls in the app, it's not hard at all to double tap the home button, slide left, and simply control the music there. If they integrated it into the app, where would they put it?

Music playback controls with auto stop!
The Ipod player does not work with auto stop. So i use a player called "Big Button Music Player" but the swipe between 2 Apps is not a professional way...
4 small buttons with play-pause- skip left and skip right would be great!
Over this 4 buttons maybe one button to go in the playlist... -

Yes, at least a play/pause button. The 4 finger swipe thing isnt good enough, I use it at a church where many singers use playback tracks, some with different levels, and we gotta keep the volume low when pressing play and slowly fade in... Try that having to do the 4 finger swipe...

I guess this has been addressed? I use the 4 finger swipe to go between Master Fader and DJay. Works great. And I discovered it accidentally.

For quick access to the music player, double tap the "home" button and swipe the dock to the right.

As a work-around, leave the multi-finger action option on for the iPad and use 4 fingers to swipe between Master Fader and music playback app.

just a simple play, pause would be a huge improvement. split the ipad solo button in half and make the other half a "play/pause"
